So, You Want To Learn To Sew?: Maybe? Kinda? Sorta? Sure, Why Not!

Sewing can be fun and relaxing or sometimes a bit of a challenge, but either way, you made it. That is something to celebrate. No project is too big or too small, maybe more time-consuming if it is big, but what is time when you are creating a masterpiece.

To get started you will need supplies. What should you get first? Check out my list of the top items you need to get started:

  1. A sewing machine: Since you are starting out, the machine doesn’t have to be expensive. You can go to your local discount store, thrift store, or estate sale.
  2. Scissors: Fabric and Paper
  3. Needles: Hand and Machine
  4. Thread
  5. Clear Ruler
  6. Seam Gauge
  7. Glass Head Pins
  8. Fabric Markers
  9. Seam Ripper
  10. Iron
  11. Ironing Board
  12. Bobbins

Ok, what should we make?

About Vinneeca

Hello, my name is Vinneeca and I love being creative. I live in sunny San Diego, California. I want to use this blog as a way to reach out other fellow sewist, yes sewist (who wants to be known as sewer, LOL!) and crafters alike. If you are a beginner, novice or looking for holiday sewing and crafting ideas, welcome. I hope we can share ideas, techniques with each other or just come together to talk about our passion.
